About Monte Vista Optometry


Established in the 1950s, Monte Vista Optometry offers Turlock and the surrounding communities a high-tech, personalized eye care experience. The practice provides full-service optometry services and specialties in medical eye exams, ocular disease treatment and management, specialty contact lenses, and specialty visual testing. With enough square footage to build a specialty clinic in the near future, this practice is looking to grow its team of three providers and 13 staff members. 

The professionals are dedicated to providing personalized vision solutions and preventative eye care to ensure a lifetime of clear, comfortable, and healthy vision. The practice is well-appointed with automated optical equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology, including Optomap Daytona, Zeiss Cirrus 5000 OCT, Zeiss HVF, iCare, Konan ColorDx, TRS automated phoropters and manual phoropters. To efficiently serve patients, online appointment scheduling and office communications are offered via text messaging. In addition, patients will enjoy personalized attention from the Opticians as they browse a wide selection of fashionable eyewear for all budgets. 

About the Associate Optometrist Opening


Monte Vista Optometry is seeking a full-time Associate Optometrist, passionate about a career focused on helping others. You'll perform comprehensive patience care for approximately 16 to 22 patients daily. Charting, patient referrals, and other administrative tasks are also required—you'll have the option to learn additional practice management duties in exchange for a higher salary. An Associate Optometrist interested in exploring various specialties to expand service offerings will be a complementary asset to the team. This is an excellent opportunity to care for a variety of patients of all ages, ocular conditions, and special populations. Candidates must demonstrate leadership, excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. Minimum qualifications include:


•    Optometry license in the state of California 
•    NBEO certification (prefer residency trained, but not required) 
•    Glaucoma certification preferred if graduated before 2007
