Established in 2006, Levin Eye Care started as a family business and has grown to 10 locations, serving the Baltimore Metropolitan Area. Combining Optometry, Ophthalmology, cutting-edge technologies and a caring team of professionals, Levin Eye Care is always finding new ways to preserve vision for life. The practice specializes in comprehensive eye care, treatment and management of glaucoma, contact lenses, pre- and post-operative cataracts, and surgical eye care. To support the continued growth and its plan to open future locations, Levin Eye Care is looking to add an additional provider to its team of Optometrists, Ophthalmologists, and cross-trained support staff.  

 

Each location strives to offer exceptional customer service as well as tremendous variety of eyewear products to conveniently serve patients. The practices use state-of-the-art vision care technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases and are always looking to implement the newest technologies. As each location is fully staffed, the practice flow runs smoothly, enabling the doctors to see 16 to 20 patients daily. The optical boutiques offer hundreds of designer frames for all lifestyles—all at affordable prices. Customers can easily purchase contacts through a seamless online experience.

 

About the opening

 

Levin Eye Care has an opening for a highly skilled Optometrist who is patient-focused and can provide personalized service to ensure excellent vision care for all patients. This is a full-time position requiring 37 to 40 hours weekly.  In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all insurances, medical and visual diagnosis, and refer patients to the Ophthalmologist when needed. You’ll also educate patients about the different types of lenses and contacts. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your skillset, care for a diverse population of patients, and work alongside talented professionals—the Optometrists and Ophthalmologists share over 100 years of diagnostic, optical, and surgical experience.

 

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, responsible, service-oriented, community-involved, and willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.

 

Minimum qualification:

 

  • Optometry license in the state of Maryland
