About Roseville Optometry


This modern, high-tech practice has provided comprehensive eye care to residents and families in Placer County for more than 15 years. The team of professionals takes a patient-centric approach, specializing in primary eye care, children's eye exams, and specialty contact lenses. The practice also offers services for ocular disease and management, computer vision syndrome, and surgical co-management. The practice is conveniently located in the North Sunrise Professional Center,  easily accessible from Business 80 and the East Roseville Parkway. To support the growth of Roseville Optometry, the practice is looking to add an Optometrist to the team of seven employees. 


Roseville Optometry is suited with state-of-the-art, pre-diagnostic optical technology and uses behind-the-scenes technology to diagnose a wide array of ocular conditions. The professionals utilize optical coherence tomography, autorefractors, frequency doubling technology, non-contact tonometry, and specialized visual fields. Patients will enjoy browsing the optical boutique that offers a wide selection of eyewear and sunglasses—plus personalized service from the friendly Opticians who will select the proper frames for comfort and lifestyle.


About the opening


Roseville Optometry is seeking an Optometrist passionate about providing individualized care and exceeding expectations through superior service to maximize quality of life. You'll provide routine, and specialized eye care, including the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma—approximately 12 to 15 patients are cared for daily. The position is two to three days a week, including Thursdays and Fridays, and one to two Saturdays per month. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from talented professionals and directly contribute to the growth of the practice. And, for the right candidate, a future partnership or ownership opportunity may be available.


To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will want to continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.


Minimum qualifications include:


•    Optometry license in the state of California
•    Glaucoma certification
