This fast-paced practice uses state-of-the-art vision care technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases. The practice is well-appointed with automated optical equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology including Optos, Cirrus HD-OCT 500, and threshold visual field. Patients will enjoy a friendly shopping experience at the full-service optical shop that carries over 500 frames. About the opening

Tashner Vision Clinic is seeking an Associate Optometrist who is passionate about creating exceptional value in the lives of patients by delivering extraordinary eye care. In this role you will examine, diagnose, treat and manage disorders of the visual system, eye diseases, and injuries. You will demonstrate your extensive product knowledge as you describe features and benefits of lenses, frames, and contacts; and confidently prescribe eyeglasses and specialty contact lenses. You will provide surgical co-management, refer patients to healthcare professionals as appropriate, and promote good eye health by counseling patients. A candidate interested in exploring specialties of their choice to expand patient care and treatment would be complimentary addition to the practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work with experts in the field and grow professionally with solid practice. 
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will want to continuously develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors, willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services and be involved within the community.  

Minimum qualifications include:
•    Optometry license in the state of Wisconsin
•    Knowledgeable in treatment options using pharmaceuticals, low vision, vision therapy, and surgical procedures


Preferred qualifications include: 
•    Prior practice experience
