General Summary

Responsible for the final stage of contract administration including review of contracts and maintenance of the contract management tool. This position will interact with various departments using the contract management tool to ensure consistent terms and conditions are utilized and/or to ensure proper approval and tracking of non-standard terms and conditions.

Essential Functions

Reviews contracts for completeness, pertinent data, obligations, and compliance with company requirement


Compile contract information, reports, and supporting documentation with detailed notes and ensure information is accurately input into the contract management tool


Monitor contract changes, identify and resolve risk issues, track progress, escalate potential issues


Oversee proposal planning and administration of contracts


Educate, correspond, and communicate with internal business partners regarding contract terms and compliance issues 


Track activities for multiple contracts and coordinate efforts between multiple internal departments and external clients


Develop and maintain all contract documentation and related policies and regulations in a concise, organized manner


Tag non-standard contracts clauses into the contact management tool


Manage the approval process related to contracts, assisting to manage contract templates


Generate/run/analyze reports, support users in various groups who use the contract management tool


Manage expiration and renewal notifications

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:


Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience


One year of contracts administrative experience, e.g., redline agreements, creating abstracts 


One year of experience with focus on customer support role


Excellent verbal and written communication skills to develop professional correspondence


Strong attention to detail, organizational and customer service skills


Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment


Previous experience analyzing and solving problems


Knowledge of word processing applications, spreadsheets 


Ability to regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment the in performance of his/her job duties.


Preferred Skills

Experience in Salesforce, Docusign, Office Suite (excel) , and Sharepoint.

The working environment is generally favorable.  Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust etc.
