About Palmdale Optometry

Palmdale Optometry has served the Antelope Valley region for over 15 years, offering a total eye care experience in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese to residents and families in Los Angeles County. The practice specializes in primary eye care, ocular disease management including glaucoma, specialty contact lenses, and surgical co-management for laser vision correction. Palmdale Optometry is centrally located on East Palmdale Blvd, easily accessible from Highway 138 and 14 and residents in Lancaster. To help maintain practice growth and preserve its outstanding service, the business is looking to add an Associate Optometrist to the team of five professionals. 
Palmdale Optometry strives to offer quality care in a comfortable environment to ensure a lifetime of clear vision. The practice leverages advanced diagnostic technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of ocular diseases. Behind-the-scenes optical technology includes autorefractors, Optovue OCT, Centervue digital retinal camera, and  Humphrey Visual Field. An Optometric Technician efficiently conducts patient workups and pretesting to enable a smooth practice flow, allowing the doctors to spend quality time with patients. In addition, customers enjoy shopping at the optical boutique that offers a large selection of designer frames—plus, patients will receive personalized attention from the Optician who assists in selecting the right frames for comfort, functionality, and personal style. 

About the Associate Optometrist Opening

Palmdale Optometry is seeking an Associate Optometrist passionate about providing personalized and individualized care to ensure excellent eye health and vision care for all patients. You’ll perform eye examinations, scleral lens fitting, glaucoma, and other ocular disease management 32 to 36 hours weekly. A candidate certified in glaucoma and has at least one to two years of experience will be an asset to the team. Palmdale Optometry is looking for an energetic and motivated team player to serve patients of all backgrounds.  If you’re someone who has dedicated your life to the field of optometry and is passionate about helping communities access vision care, the is the opportunity for you. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, excellent patient communication skills, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. In addition, the ideal candidate will be ambitious, responsible, service-oriented, community-involved, and willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services. 

Minimum qualifications include:

•    Optometry license in the state of California

Preferred qualifications include:

•    One to two years of experience
•    Glaucoma certified
