About Triangle Family Eye Care

Triangle Family Eye Care takes pride in helping local communities access eye care and achieve excellent eye health. Established in 2012 by Dr. Prajapati, patients can expect to receive world-class care and well-rounded vision care, and medical eye care experience. Serving the Morrisville and Cary communities, the practice offers specialties in ocular diseases treatment and management, pediatric eye care, specialty contact lenses, and surgical co-management. Dr. Prajapati also offers a comprehensive dry eye clinic and creates individualized treatment plans to meet patients’ needs. To help support practice growth and expand the clinic’s dry eye services, Dr. Prajapati is looking for an Associate Optometrist to join the highly-trained team of seven employees.


Triangle Family Eye Care ensures every patient receives the highest standard of eye care through a one-on-one approach and advanced technology. This modern practice is equipped with the latest digital imagery and a suite of cutting-edge diagnostics. The team utilizes a Monaco Optomap (integrated optical coherence tomography with ultra-widefield imaging), Humphry Matrix Visual Field, Lumenis Intense Pulsed Light technology, LipiScan and LipiFlow. A strong technical, contact lens and optical staff enable the doctor to examine patients, build relationships, and recommend a care plan—approximately 15 to 20 patients are cared for daily. Customers enjoy shopping in the optical boutique that features a curated collection of designer frames and premium lenses—plus, patients will receive personalized attention from the Opticians who assist in selecting the right frames for comfort, functionality, and personal style.

About the Associate Optometrist Position

Triangle Family Eye Care has an excellent opportunity for an Associate Optometrist to provide exceptional vision care to ensure optimal vision and eye health for all patients. You’ll provide comprehensive eye care, contact lens fittings, and educate patients on services that will fit their vision needs, including eyeglasses, contacts, dry eye services. An Associate Optometrist passionate about chronic dry eye syndrome or interested in learning how to provide personalized treatment and management will be an asset to the practice. You’ll initially work 24 hours a week with an opportunity to ramp up to full-time.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will have an excellent clinical skillset, a love for continued learning, the ability to grasp new technologies with ease, and a passion for helping those in need. 

Minimum qualifications include:

•    Optometry license in the state of North Carolina
•    Contact lens fittings

Preferred qualifications include:

•    Dry eye treatment or willing to learn
