VSP Global is committed to providing professional opportunities for Optometrists. That's why we're connecting you to Premier Program providers recruiting for openings at their private practices.

This part-time opportunity for an Associate Optometrist is available at a private practice in Mooresville, North Carolina.

Why you should apply

Ensuring crisp and clear vision is only one part of first-rate eye care at this thriving practice—patients can expect comprehensive care for greater longevity of eye health and vision. As a high-tech, successful private practice, there is a long-term opportunity on the horizon for the right Associate Optometrist. If you're an ambitious professional looking to bring new perspectives to a well-established Optometry practice in a tight-knit lake community, where you don't have to work on weekends, this is your chance!

Mooresville is one of several cities that border the freshwater Lake Norman. Its mild, four-season climate makes it perfect for year-round adventures—on and off the water. Offering a plethora of art, history, food, shopping, nightlife, and community events, there's plenty of beautiful places to explore and fun things to do in Mooresville. Home to a great school system and safe neighborhoods, its proximity to the Charlotte Douglas International Airport—less than 35 miles—makes it an ideal choice to practice and a prime location to live.

About the practice

This private practice first opened in Mooresville in 2002 and was purchased in 2005 by its current owner. The practice provides a full scope of optometric services to Iredell county families and residents of all ages and specializes in comprehensive examinations, complete eye health management, ocular disease diagnosis and management, iLux dry eye treatment technology, specialty contact lenses, surgical co-management, and eye emergencies. The expert team is always up-to-date with the rapid progress in medicine and technology, ensuring patients benefit from precise diagnoses and optimal treatments. To support the practice's long-term expansion, the business is looking to add a provider to the highly-trained team.

This tech-forward practice is located in a new free-standing building, featuring modern and unique aspects that complement the patient experience and a drive-through for added convenience. Fully suited with top-of-the-line optical exam equipment, including an AR/AK unit, OPTOS, OCT, corneal topography, external camera, and digital phoropters. Patients enjoy a family-friendly shopping experience as they browse a wide selection of optical frames and sunglasses from the optical boutique—plus personalized customer support from the friendly and trained office staff.
