If you’re an ambitious professional looking to bring new perspectives to a well-established Optometry practice in a tight-knit lake community, with the potential for a future partnership opportunity in North Carolina, this is your chance!

Mooresville is one of several cities that border the freshwater Lake Norman.  Its mild, four-season climate makes it perfect for year-round adventures—on and off the water. Offering a plethora of art, history, food, shopping, nightlife, and community events, there’s plenty of beautiful places to explore and fun things to do in Mooresville. Home to a great school system and safe neighborhoods, its proximity to the Charlotte Douglas International Airport—less than 35 miles—makes it an ideal choice to practice and a prime location to live.

About the practice

This private practice first opened in Mooresville in 2002 and was purchased by Dr. Angela Harris in 2005. The practice provides a full scope of optometric services to Iredell county residents of all ages and specializes in eye diseases and contact lenses (traditional and specialty). With plans to move to a larger location in 2019, Dr. Harris is looking to add an associate OD to her growing practice staff of 9 employees.

Fully suited with top-of-the-line optical exam equipment, including an AR/AK unit, OPTOS, OCT, corneal topography, external camera, and digital phoropters. This office operates in a paperless environment using the latest technology and cloud-based software, which enables electronic medical records and charting from anywhere. Patients enjoy a family-friendly shopping experience as they browse a wide selection of optical frames and sunglasses from the optical boutique—plus personalized customer support from friendly and trained office staff.
