About Mill Creek Vision


Established in 1983, Mill Creek Vision serves the communities of Bothell, Lynnwood, Everett, and Woodinville. The practice offers full-scope optometry and stays current with the latest developments in optometric eye care to provide patients with the best vision possible. The Optometrists at Mill Creek Vision specialize in various medical eye services, including managing ocular conditions such as eye infections, allergies, cataract detection, glaucoma, dry eye therapy, blepharitis, and macular degeneration. The practice also prescribes specialty contact lenses, NeuroLens, and provides post-operative LASIK care. Mill Creek Vision is conveniently located in the Mill Creek Clinic with other medical providers. To help drive practice growth and expand the patient base, Mill Creek Vision is looking for an Optometrist to join the team of 17 employees.


Mill Creek Vision ensures optimal eye health through the industry’s most advanced technology. The practice is fully equipped for primary eye care and utilizes Humphrey Zeiss 740i, Cirrus 6000, Optos California, Marco-Nidek TonoRef II, NeuroLens, Oculus Keratograph, InflammaDry, Tear Lab, AdenoPlus, Topcon Aladdin M, and BlephEx. In addition, cloud-based technology is utilized to manage electronic health records, establish a baseline of patients’ ocular health, and monitors changes. Patients will enjoy a family-friendling shopping experience as they browse a wide selection of fashionable eyewear and designer frames. The Opticians work closely with the patients to select proper frames for cosmetic, lifestyle, and vision needs—plus the practice has a selection of over 800 frames in stock. 


About the Optometrist Opening


Mill Creek Vision is seeking a full-time Optometrist who genuinely cares about the patient experience and consistently provides personalized care to ensure excellent eye health. You’ll provide primary care optometry 40 hours per week—approximately 14 to 16 patients are cared for daily. The practice is looking for someone with at least one year of practice experience—additional specialties such as myopia management, glaucoma management, dry eye treatment, specialty contacts, and NeuroLens will be an asset to the team. Additionally, you must have excellent clinical skills and an interest in learning more about the business side of optometry. For the right Optometrist, a future partnership or ownership opportunity may be available.


To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will want to develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.


Minimum qualifications include:


  • Optometry license in the state of Washington
  • At least one year of experience
