In addition to routine eye and medical care, the practice specializes in refractive surgery, cataract laser surgery, laser vision correction surgery, keratoconus management, and additional medical specialties. To maintain a competitive edge in the eye care industry, Khanna Vision Institute is looking for two Clinical Optometrists to join the dynamic team of professionals.


The well-respected, award-winning clinic is at the forefront of the industry’s most advanced vision care technology. Fully equipped with diagnostic technology, the practice utilizes autorefractors, lensometer, fundus camera, optical coherence tomography, IOL Master, Pentacam, Lenstar, Topography, and wavefront technology.


About the Clinical Optometrist Position 


Khanna Vision Institute is seeking two highly-skilled Clinical Optometrists to provide comprehensive eye care and deliver outstanding customer service through all patient interactions. You’ll work 40 hours a week and provide various optometric services, including refractive exams, dilated exams, perform contact lens fittings, and recommend patient follow-ups and treatment plans. Support from a dedicated team of optical technicians will allow you to focus on providing the highest level of personalized care to help patients achieve optimal vision—approximately 16-26 patients are cared for daily. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside and learn other experts in a supportive environment and impact the long-term growth of Khanna Vision Institute. For the right Clinical Optometrist, a future partnership or ownership opportunity may be available.  


To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will want to develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services. Minimum qualifications include: 


•    Optometry license in the state of California
•    TPA certified

 

Preferred qualifications include:


•    Scleral contact lenses
•    Prescribing eye drops
