About Glendora Optometry


For over 50 years, Glendora Optometry has provided primary care to families and residents in Los Angeles County of all ages, insurances, and visual and medical diagnoses. This practice is focused on patient-centric care and offers complete eye exams, glaucoma testing, specialty contact lenses, pre-and post-operative care, and an extensive optical department. Conveniently located in the Glendora Village Civic Center, the practice is easily accessible just off Interstate 210. To continue contributing to the business' success and preserve the legacy service patients know and expect, the practice is looking to add an Associate Optometrist to the team of five employees.


Committed to helping patients gain the best vision through optimal eye health, Glendora Optometry uses state-of-the-art vision care technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases. The practice is well-appointed with automated optical equipment and behind-the-scenes functional technology to help determine a personalized treatment plan. Patients enjoy a family-friendly shopping experience as they browse a wide selection of frames and sunglasses from the optical boutique—plus personalized customer support from the Opticians who will ensure patients find the proper fit for comfort, the newest styles for fashion, and the best options for their budget.


About the Associate Optometrist Opening


Glendora Optometry is seeking a full-time Optometrist who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care. In this role, you'll perform comprehensive eye exams for vision and ocular health and provide primary care. The current office hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. You'll work 35 to 40 hours a week and care for a variety of ages and conditions—approximately 16 comprehensive exams and five follow-ups are performed daily. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an established patient base and directly impact Glendora Optometry's success. For the right Associate Optometrist, a future partnership or ownership opportunity may be available. 


To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, responsible, service-oriented, community-involved, and willing to integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.


Minimum qualifications include:
